João Vitória is an AI educator, Technology Strategist, Media Executive, and Founder of SHKR. With over 25 years of international experience across digital and legacy media, advertising, and the creator economy, he has held leadership roles at global agency groups including WPP, Omnicom, and Havas, working with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Nestlé, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, and Microsoft. More recently, he has been advising and leading AI deployments for broadcast news organisations. He lectures at Universidade Católica in Lisbon, teaching AI strategy and crisis communication to executive audiences. João holds an MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, a programme focused on innovation, organisational transformation, and future readiness, completed through residential modules at UC Berkeley (Haas), Columbia University, Tongji University in Shanghai, and Hitotsubashi ICS in Tokyo, with direct access to the companies and innovation ecosystems shaping each of those markets.
