Paulius Butkus is an energy sector executive with more than 12 years of international experience spanning energy system operations, markets, innovation, infrastructure, and strategic development. He currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at EPSO-G, where he leads group-wide strategic planning, risk management, sustainability and innovation governance, and data analytics.

Paulius is also Chairman of the Board of Amber Grid, Lithuania’s gas transmission system operator, and Chairman of the Board of Energy Cells, the national energy storage system operator. His work focuses on accelerating the transformation of the energy system and enabling data‑driven decision-making across the sector.
